More and more people are pursuing the idea of gaining their degrees online. Many established universities offer distance education, and this is advantageous to those who cannot relocate or who simply are prohibited from doing so by family or cost restraints. Online degrees have, in the past, been somewhat lacking in the interactive components for which seminar portions of university courses are used for. With the influx of conferencing solutions, however, it is now possible to arrange seminars from the homes of students in an online degree program for the exchanges of ideas and opinions that are a vital part of higher learning.
